Jigsaw Collagraph

After being inspired by the book "Making Collagraph Prints" (by Suzie Mackenzie), I decided to try making a collagraph in two separate plates. Similar to the jigsaw style sometimes used in linocuts/woodcuts.

I used some glue and acrylic medium to create the clouds and moon, and also some tape in the mountain zones, so it would print dark in some areas. During wiping, I was careful to wipe the moon so it would print nearly white.

I was pleasantly surprised with the result, and will definitely be considering this technique in the future.
