Soft Pastels - Sketches

Art books are a great sort of inspiration, specially when learning new techniques. I have been using the book "Le grand livre des activités artistiques" (link below) to learn more about how to work with soft pastels.

One of the best ways to learn is by doing and in this case I have followed four examples given in the book:

Quite happy with how the above ones turned out, less happy with the two below. But will continue the practice and hopefully improve on my pastel paintings.
